The BlueLounge Kickflip is amazing

Filed under:

In its bare form it’s a strip that attaches to the MacBook which flips open to be a laptop stand, giving you a more ergonomic way of typing and working on the laptop. The good parts are that it uses a special adhesive gel instead of glue so that there is no residue, and the Kickflip is repositionable and removable. It gives you a good lifted angle to make coding and writing more enjoyable.

Application is easy, just take off the protecting film and apply the Kickflip to the backside of your MacBook with light pressure. BlueLounge kept the form factor rather thin and the difference when not flipped out is not so big, this still makes it easy to use when just resting on a desk. Once applied just flip open and position on a desk to start boosting your typing.

Unflipped, not that much a difference with regular MacBook angle

Downsides? Sometimes when using a smoother surface (like the glass plate on my desk) it’s possible that you move the MacBook due to the Kickflip not having an anti-slip foot. But it’s very minor though and not that noticeable.
